This dramatic look was inspired by a John Singer Sargent painting of an Edwardian socialite.
I have created this Edwardian Corseted Gown in a claret coloured Taffeta embroidered with tiny rosebuds, but it would look equally stunning in a shot ( two- tone) silk fabric.
The bodice which is corseted has back lacing. The drapes across the front of the skirt sweep around over the hips and disappear under the folds of the back skirt, which falls into a long elegant train. The skirt is fully lined.
This gown can be made in a variety of fabrics and colours.
